What is Kinfolk

Led by Chef Alex Hochfelder, Kinfolk is an Atlanta-based underground supper club offering an intimate dining experience. Our menus highlight local, seasonal produce and are presented as a prix fixe tasting menu ranging from 10–15 courses, lasting over three hours. Dinners are hosted in a private location disclosed only after ticket purchase, with one to two seatings offered each month through a ticketed system. Our alcohol policy is BYOB, with wines available by donation. Our goal is to create a unique dining experience centered on innovation, storytelling, and hospitality.

Meet the Chef

Alex Hochfelder is a Georgia born chef. His journey began in creative fields such as furniture making, photography, and product design, with an education in Industrial Design from Georgia Tech. Eventually finding himself in the kitchen, this diverse background instilled in him a unique approach to cooking, blending his creative process with his approach to developing dishes.

His culinary path started back in 2012 has led him most recently through esteemed kitchens such as 2 Michelin starred Lazy Bear in San Francisco, Bird Dog in Palo Alto, and Atlanta's own Miller Union and Adalina.

At 32, Alex founded Kinfolk Supper Club to create unique dining experiences that focuses on intimacy and hospitality with his own personal touch. His menus emphasize preservation, foraged elements, and a balance between nostalgia and modern techniques.
